Physics and Mathematics Tutoring

I provide individual Physics and Mathematics tutoring via Zoom from my home at North Ryde* in Sydney's Northern Suburbs. Sessions are of one hour duration. Sessions cater for individual students ability.

I diagnose the strength of a student’s understanding of Physics or Mathematics concepts and use structured learning routines to improve understanding in these areas. Emphasis is placed on the meaning of words, the performance of calculations, graphical work, setting out of work and writing mini essay answers to a high examination standard. Particular emphasis is placed on the systematic solution of examination style questions.

New sessions start with a revision of previous work and proceed systematically through the syllabus content.

I have a large number of resources at my home to demonstrate first hand Physics and Mathematics concepts.

Rates for sessions held via Zoom start at $160 per hour, depending on the subject.

Rates for sessions outside of my home start at $200 per hour, dependent on the subject and actual location.

Please give me at least 48 hours notice if changing or cancelling a tutorial or you may incur a 50% cancellation fee
